Our Hearts.
Whether ‘gay’, ‘lesbian’, ‘same-sex-attracted’, or something else, each member of oasis finds their experience this side of heaven as something other than ‘straight’. While we may differ in the terms we use to describe our experience, we are all responding to the call of Christ to steward our sexuality in accordance with a traditional interpretation of scripture (also known as “Side B”).
Our Mission.
We believe that life lived together is the best way to follow Christ. Spiritual friendships and relationships are at the core of who we are as oasis. We work to be a safe space for “Side B” Christians in the Indy area to walk in community.
Our Action.
oasis meets the first and third weeks of each month to support one another in our journey. In addition, we have multiple social gatherings throughout the year.
